Details every step of the way

The brick lined foundation,the shutters, the cedar shakes at the peak all add to the image that this addition was meant to be a part of THIS house.

Welcome!

This blog was created to document an addition to our home. After my dad passed away we decided that mom would move in with us. To create a space for her and to expand on some shared spaces we have chosen to make an addition to our home. Follow along as I document that experience. I had been keeping my friends posted on the progress via FaceBook but decided by creating a blog I could share it with the public.
